Black line above the front tooth cap?
Is there another way to get a new PAC to cover the black line in the top of my hat? Thanks Dave. Can you give me a ballpark figure of what a solid porcelain crown would make me run? I am located in the mountains Pocono, Pennsylvania sandwiches dental expenses vary by region.
Sharon, who is a good question. Unfortunately there is no good way to camouflage This line of black. I suppose you have the crown is a metal-ceramic crown. And is the slight advantage of metal in the white porcelain that looks now. I think we can consider something like a gum graft. From the black line is starting to show probably because their gums are "mature" or withdrawing slightly. But personally, I would not consider that. And some would say you could break that line a bit and fill with white Filling material. If I had another option available that I could try. But how could affect the maintenance of the crown, along the road, the Crown could take off. And Once a color is placed, often needs to be redone in about 5 years, maybe more soon as to the gum. As I prepared a large quantity of porcelain on the front, I must say that the best thing to do would be to have a porcelain crown.
