Can you still use auto focus when using a 1.4x extender on a 100-400mm Canon?
I am just buying a 1.4x Canon extender.
Will auto focus still work with my 100-400mm Canon?

Yes, the extender will work. Your focus speed will not be affected, only your aperture and a very slight loss of image quality that will be barely noticeable. The aperture will be stopped down 1.4 times. Meaning when your lens says f5.6. you will actually be shooting at f8.4.
