When filipinos go abroad to work or study, do they give weather conditions any consideration at all?
we come from a tropical country and it’s not always easy to adapt to extreme weather changes which for some could pose a serious health problem. my question is: did weather factor in at all in your decision to choose which country to go to? or is the lure of job/money the only consideration?
I’m guessing probably not.
I live in Yukon Territory, Canada. When I go down to Whitehorse, I see many Philipinos working in the shops. Canadian Tire in particular, but WalMart, and the grocery stores as well. There is one (I think) in Dawson City, where it was -45C (-47F) this morning.
If you’ve never experienced those sorts of temperatures, they are hard to describe!
